At the beginning of 2018, after 45 years in the business Mark Tink stepped down from Brickwork Restoration. Dylan Harding, Mark’s oldest grandson stepped up and took on the rains of the job. Dylan has worked with Mark since 2005 and has a vast range of experience and knowledge in all areas of the business. In his time working under Mark, Dylan was involved with completing a large number of restoration projections around Melbourne, all with great success. So as they say it’s out with the old and in with the new and the next stage of Brickwork Restoration has begun. Mark has instilled in Dylan the qualities he has to continue the journey of a well known successful business.
Dylan is Mark Tink`s grandson and has worked with him since leaving school in 2005 completing a 4yr bricklaying apprenticeship 2009.
Dylan has become an expert in all forms of Brickwork and Mortar joint Restoration and is embracing the opportunity to continue in his Grandfathers footsteps.
Mark started in the Bricklaying industry in 1971, incorporated City & Suburbs Bricklaying in 1985. In 1992/3 City & Suburbs moved into and focused solely on the specialised field of the restoration of Tuck Pointing, the re pointing of normal mortar joints and the replacement/reinstatement of Heritage Brickwork.
It’s now time for the next generation to take over. Mark will remain on Dylans Team as a consultant.
Roger joined Brickwork Restoration at the beginning of 2019. Roger brings with him 10 years of experience in the building industry and comes with a range of knowledge and a great work ethic.
Dave has worked with Mark for over 33yrs and been involved in all major projects in that journey.
While Dave will remain available for major on site activity it is now time for a well earned break.
